Hello again everyone. I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. I'm having great one so far. All of my cakes are done for the weekend. Now I am preparing for the upcoming week with more orders for different cakes.4 Birthday cakes and a Baptism Cake. I had fun this week with Eva emailing back and forth about a First Communion cake for her daughter. Eva's daughter Miranda is just too cute and has such a great personality. I made a cross with butter cream roses and a Chalice and Host for the center of the cake. Eva loved it and was so pleased with it. I knew I did my job once she saw it. Woo hoo!!! Loved it!!!!!!! After the delivery I went back to work and started on the Leopard purse for Ira my new friend. She has orders for me all the time. Bring'em girl!! I'm ready lol !! I finished the purse around 8 pm and was pleased with its appearance. My sister again helped me and it was awesome. I need the help sometimes because I don't always get my ideas straight so my family always comes to the rescue. Thanks again sister! lol...I had fun doing a new technique with the leopard print. I loved it. I'm using it again next time. I hope you all have a great Sunday! I know I will. Night, night friends!.

Busy, busy, busy!!!
Hello everyone. These past few days have been a bit crazy for me. Calls, email Facebook messages etc. about cake inquires. I was trying to respond in a timely fashion. You bet I have been busy. It really can be cray for me at times. Responding to all the email and question and concerns and ideas. I have never been bombarded with so many about future cakes orders. I think its pretty cool. Don't you think? Wow prices had to change due to prices increase on items at the store I get my supplies so its hard to keep up with all the new prices. I have several cakes this weekend. I have a 1st Communion cake and a Leopard print purse for this weekend. How do I do it? I don't know myself. I do it all. At some points when its crunch time I just want to give up but at other times I know that cake decorating is what I love to do. I wish, (and hopefully in the future) I had my own Bakery oh, it would be my dream. Divided the work among my employees have someone do this and another person do that and etc. but I have to be realistic. I'm doing it all myself and its okay right now. Well here we go. The start of another busy weekend approaching. Get some shopping done later today. Oh what joy! lol. Have a great rest of the week everyone. Pictures of the cakes will be posted later this weekend. Another Cake Adventure today. Woo hoo!

Pictures of Wedding Cakes
Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I'm posting more pictures of my work. I cant wait to make more cakes in the upcoming months. I am posting Wedding cakes that I have made from the past 2 years. Here is just one story of many cake adventures to come. The 4 tiered wedding that you see above was an all white fondant cake accented with black pipping and white string work along with a fabulous bouquet of sugar paste flowers. This cake was for a great and special couple. They are both my friends! The engaged couple at the time was looking something elegant but still simple. I had seen a picture of a cake but it was a smaller scale of the I made and I showed it to them and they liked it but were not convinced because it was a 2 tier cake. I made a sketch for them to give them an idea of what it was going to look like as a 4 tiered cake. My friends Laura and Genaro A.K.A "G" instantly loved the design and saw my vision of the cake for their big day. I kept my promise and decorated the cake exactly as drawn on paper. In addition, I hand made red sugar gum paste roses in a deep red they looked so realistic everyone thought they were real roses. I was pleased and so was the happy couple. G and Laura were an easy and pleasant couple to work for. Couples like theme make my job easy and keeps me doing what I love to do.This is just one of many Cake Adventures. I love Wedding cakes and look forward to have the opportunity to make them again and again. I just love to make fabulous cakes. More cake pictures coming soon!

Another busy weekend, but well worth it!
It was another crazy weekend! I had my moments but gosh it's so worth it. This week I had several cakes from simple to elaborate. I had a cake on Tuesday, it was one of my famous Minnie Mouse Cakes it was originally due on Sunday but an accident occurred a 911 Cake Emergency. I got to redeem myself for Ira my new friend such a sweet heart. Wednesday I had a whip cream cake for my mothers work a very simple cake with roses and a simple shell boarder... can you say "back to basics" lol. A little history on the "Jesus Cake time-line Adventures whip topping was the first icing I started with decorating cakes. I used to hate it because it would melt in my hands....ahhhh.... you have to work fast with it. I was only 11 years old when I first started decorating cakes. Wow I was so young. So, this week I had a Cake for my friend Malena who lives in two cities back East on is D.C. and Jersey! hmmm...okay.... I think I should say states? Okay I'm confused. LOL. Well, her B.F.F. Sylvia ordered a cake for her and I decided to make a purse because I know Malena loves purses. Oh before I forget, "Happy Birthday Malena!". I had to give her a shout out. LOL. I made a cute Coco Chanel purse with a Zebra print pattern. Then I had to decorate a candle cake for a friend who wanted to use the cake as a center piece on her table. It came out super cute! Thanks Gemma for letting me do that for. After decorating two cakes and working for 6 hours straight I had a break and that was dinner with my friends in Uptown Whittier. My friends make me laugh and its was a much needed distraction from all the cake business. Thanks Jesse, Maria and Sylvia for a great night at Malena's dinner! And Corey, Malena's man, you Rock for making my friend so happy! I noticed it on her face smile from ear to ear. After a great dinner reality set in....BOOM BOOM BOOMMMM.....LOL.. I had to go home and work again on the last cake. The cake order is from my friend Margarete AKA "Margarita" LOL.. I finally finished that cake at 3am. It was cute a red purse with a black wallet 2 am I was a zombie I was super tired. I went to sleep and woke up early at 7:30 am to add the last touches on the purse cake. I always ask my sister and niece for advice they always do a great job at doing that I always need help and I value their input. I love that of them. Love you girls!!! Finally, delivery time the most stressful part of cake decorating I left my house at 3:30 pm completed everything at 7:20pm after 3 hours of deliveries and delivering in two counties LA and OC here are the pictures. I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow especially all the mom's and to my MOMMY Happy Mother's Day Mama! Your my #1 supporter and helper! I can't do it without her!
